Strangers on a Train (1951)
A charming psychopath proposes a deadly idea to a tennis star: they should "exchange" murders so neither will have a motive. He believes this will create the perfect, untraceable crime. When the athlete dismisses the proposal as a joke, the stranger decides to carry out his half of the bargain anyway. The athlete is then trapped in a sinister game, pressured to commit a murder he never agreed to while the true killer blackmails him.
