Suffragette (2015)
A working-class laundress in London is drawn into the radical foot soldiers of the early feminist movement. Initially wary, she is galvanized by the fight for women's right to vote. She faces increasing pressure and brutality from the state, economic hardship, and the potential loss of her family as she becomes more deeply and dangerously involved in the struggle for equality.
