Sunset Boulevard (1950)
A struggling young screenwriter accidentally becomes involved with a reclusive and forgotten silent film star. She lives in a decaying mansion, deluded into believing she is still a great star. She hires him to work on her script for a grandiose comeback, pulling him into her world of fantasy and madness, where he becomes a trapped spectator to her tragic unraveling.
