Superman (1978)
An infant boy is sent to Earth from the dying planet Krypton and is raised by a kindly Kansas couple. As an adult, he discovers his superhuman abilities and moves to Metropolis. He creates the persona of a mild-mannered reporter while using his powers to fight for truth and justice as the superhero Superman.
