The 400 Blows (1959)
A young boy in Paris, neglected by his parents and misunderstood by his teachers, seeks escape from his troubled life. He begins skipping school and getting into minor trouble, which only leads to greater conflicts at home and with authority figures. His small acts of rebellion set him on a path of delinquency, culminating in a decision that changes the course of his life.
