The Basketball Diaries (1995)
A talented high school basketball player dreams of a future in the sport. However, he and his friends begin to experiment with drugs, a habit that quickly escalates from recreational use into a devastating addiction. His life spirals out of control as he struggles to maintain his friendships, his place on the team, and his own sanity, descending into a desperate struggle for survival on the streets.
