The Blob (1988)
A small town is thrown into panic when a meteorite crashes nearby, releasing a gelatinous creature that consumes and dissolves any living thing it touches. Growing larger and more intelligent with every victim, the amorphous entity becomes nearly unstoppable. A group of teenagers, disbelieved by authorities, must find a way to alert the town and discover the monster's weakness before it consumes the entire community.
