In Nazi Germany, a young girl is sent to live with a foster family. Her foster father teaches her to read, sparking a deep love for stories. She begins stealing books to share with others, including a Jewish refugee the family is hiding in their basement. Her acts of literary theft become a small form of resistance against the oppressive regime, offering solace and hope in a time of fear. Westworld (2016–2022) A sprawling, high-tech theme park allows wealthy guests to live out their fantasies in immersive worlds populated by incredibly lifelike androids. These "hosts" are programmed to fulfill every guest's desire, but they are not supposed to harm living beings. The androids begin to malfunction, gaining consciousness and memories of past traumas, leading them to revolt against their human creators in a struggle for freedom.
