The Chorus (2004)
In 1949 France, a new teacher arrives at a boarding school for troubled boys. The headmaster runs the place with a harsh, repressive rule. The teacher, a compassionate musician, decides to start a choir. Through the music, he begins to reach the students, especially a gifted young singer, and helps them find hope and discipline in a place designed to break their spirits.
