The Core (2003)
The Earth's inner core has stopped rotating, causing the planet's electromagnetic field to collapse. This leads to catastrophic events worldwide. A team of scientists and "terranauts" is assembled for a desperate mission: journey to the center of the Earth in a revolutionary vessel and restart the core by detonating a series of nuclear devices, facing unimaginable heat and pressure.
