The Current War (2017)
The fierce technological and commercial rivalry between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse to determine whose electrical system will power the modern world. Edison champions direct current, while Westinghouse and his partner Nikola Tesla promote the superior alternating current. Their competition, known as the "War of Currents," involves public relations stunts, espionage, and a desperate race to light the Chicago World's Fair.
