The Devil's Own (1997)
A New York City cop unknowingly takes in an Irish Republican Army operative who is in the U.S. to secretly buy missiles. The cop comes to see the man as a son, while the fugitive develops a genuine affection for the family sheltering him. Their bond is tested as the cop's investigation into local weapons smuggling leads him closer to his houseguest's true mission.
