The Distinguished Citizen (2016)
A Nobel Prize-winning writer, who has lived abroad for decades, accepts an invitation to receive a honor in his small Argentine hometown. He returns to a place that has mythologized his success but may not be ready for his critical perspective. The visit quickly unravels as he confronts the petty jealousies, outdated traditions, and the stark contrast between the town's perception of him and the man he has become.
