The Fan (1996)
An obsessive baseball fan becomes dangerously fixated on his favorite team's new star player. When the player's performance begins to slump, the fan's admiration curdles into rage. He begins to stalk the player and interfere in his life, believing he is "helping" him, but his actions escalate into violence and murder.
