A wealthy London couple is driving through the Moroccan desert to a lavish party at a friend's extravagant estate. During the night drive, they accidentally hit and kill a local teenage boy. The aftermath of the tragedy forces them, especially the arrogant husband, to confront their own prejudices and the vast cultural and moral divide between them and the local population. Lansky (2022021) An aging Meyer Lansky, one of the most powerful gangsters in American history, is approached by a young journalist. Lansky agrees to tell his life story, on the condition that the writer keeps the most sensitive details secret until after his death. The film moves between their conversations and flashbacks of Lansky's rise from the streets to the top of organized crime.
