The Fundamentals of Caring (2016)
A retired writer becomes a caregiver for a witty and fiercely independent teenager with muscular dystrophy. In an effort to break out of their routine, the two embark on an impromptu road trip to see various roadside attractions. Along the way, they pick up a runaway hitchhiker and a pregnant woman, forming an unlikely group that helps each other confront their personal struggles.
