The Ice Storm (1997)
Over a stormy Thanksgiving weekend in 1973, two affluent suburban families navigate a landscape of sexual exploration and social alienation. The parents engage in reckless spouse-swapping while their teenagers experiment with drugs and intimacy. Their personal dramas and moral carelessness culminate as an historic ice storm hits, forcing a confrontation with the consequences of their actions.
