The King of Comedy (1982)
An aspiring, delusional stand-up comedian is obsessed with a famous late-night talk show host. He believes that all he needs is one break to achieve fame. After failing to get a spot through conventional means, he and his obsessive friend hatch a desperate plan to kidnap the host and force the network to give him his big shot on television.
