The Last King of Scotland (2006)
A young Scottish doctor, seeking adventure, travels to Uganda and becomes the personal physician to the new president, Idi Amin. Flattered by Amin's charm and generosity, he enjoys a life of luxury and influence. He remains willfully blind to the dictator's escalating brutality and paranoia until he finds himself trapped and complicit in the regime's horrific actions.
