The Lie (2018)
A teenage girl confesses to her parents that she may have murdered her best friend in a fit of rage. In a panic, the parents make a series of terrible decisions to cover up the alleged crime, constructing an elaborate alibi. Their web of lies quickly spirals out of control, destroying their relationships and leading to devastating consequences they never anticipated.
