The Majestic (2001)
An amnesiac blacklisted Hollywood screenwriter in the 1950s wakes up in a small town with no memory. The townspeople mistakenly identify him as a local war hero who was declared missing in action years earlier. Embracing the chance for a new life, he steps into the role, finding love and purpose while helping the community rebuild its beloved movie theater, until his past begins to resurface.
