The Manchurian Candidate (2004)
During the Gulf War, a squad of American soldiers is ambushed and captured. Years later, one of them begins to have recurring nightmares about the incident, suspecting they were subjected to a sinister mind-control experiment. His investigation suggests one of his fellow soldiers, now a rising political star, has been programmed to be an unwitting assassin.
