The Mountain (2012)
In a remote, snowbound region, a young man lives a solitary life as a mountain guide, still grieving a profound personal loss. He is hired by a mysterious woman to lead her to the peak of a treacherous, sacred mountain. As they ascend into the harsh, beautiful landscape, the journey becomes a physical and spiritual trial. The woman's true motives for the climb gradually surface, forcing the guide to confront his own inner demons and the haunting memories that have kept him isolated from the world below.
