The Mummy (1999)
In 1920s Egypt, a librarian and her adventurous brother accidentally awaken a high priest who was mummified alive for sacrilege centuries ago. The resurrected creature now possesses powerful ancient curses and a relentless drive to resurrect his lost love. The siblings team up with a cynical legionnaire to stop the monstrous creature and his army of plagues from unleashing unspeakable evil upon the world.
