The Mustang (2019)
A man named Roman, incarcerated in a tough Nevada prison, is prone to violent outbursts and is isolated from other inmates. He is assigned to an outdoor maintenance program where he is introduced to the wild mustang horses captured from the open range. He is tasked with taming one of the most challenging horses. The grueling process of breaking the animal mirrors his own internal struggle for rehabilitation. Through this difficult connection with the mustang, he begins to confront the trauma and rage that define him, learning about responsibility and empathy.
