The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)
A peaceful Missouri farmer sees his family murdered by Union militants during the Civil War. Driven by a need for vengeance, he joins a Confederate guerrilla band and becomes a feared warrior. After the war ends, he refuses to surrender, becoming a fugitive hunted by Union soldiers and bounty hunters. He travels through the American frontier, gathering a group of outcasts while relentlessly pursued by his past.
