The Physician (2013)
In the 11th century, a young Englishman is determined to study medicine, a knowledge forbidden to Christians at the time. He disguises himself as a Jewish man to travel to Persia and study under a legendary master physician. He must maintain his dangerous secret while attending the world's finest medical school, all while yearning to learn the secrets of healing that are forbidden to him.
