The Pianist (2002)
A brilliant Jewish pianist living in Warsaw sees his world slowly dismantle with the outbreak of World War II and the Nazi invasion of Poland. He is forced into the Warsaw Ghetto and must use his wits and the kindness of a few to survive the devastation of the Holocaust, hiding in the ruins of the city while clinging to his art and his will to live.
