The Player (1992)
A powerful Hollywood studio executive who listens to countless pitches begins receiving death threats from a writer whose script he rejected. After confronting a writer he believes is responsible, a tragic accident occurs. He must maintain his cool and manipulate the ensuing investigation while managing a major film project and a new relationship.
