The Poison Rose (2019)
A grizzled, former football player now working as a low-rent private investigator in Los Angeles is hired for a simple missing person case in his dusty Texas hometown. The case involves a woman from a wealthy family who is in a coma. Returning to his past haunts, he finds that the situation is far more complex than he was led to believe. The investigation quickly pulls him into a web of murder, corruption, and long-buried secrets involving powerful figures, forcing him to confront his own history while unraveling a dangerous mystery.
