The Promise (2016)
Set during the final years of the Ottoman Empire, a love triangle develops between Mikael, an Armenian medical student, Chris, an American journalist, and Ana, an Armenian woman raised in Paris. Their personal lives become intertwined with the outbreak of World War I and the beginning of the Armenian Genocide, forcing them to fight for survival.
