The Ring (2002)
A journalist investigates an urban legend about a mysterious videotape that causes anyone who watches it to die seven days later. Skeptical at first, she watches the tape herself and receives a phone call confirming her fate. She now has one week to unravel the tape's sinister origins and break the curse before her time runs out.
