A young, ambitious film student in the 1980s begins a romantic relationship with a charming, older man. He is sophisticated and worldly, and she is drawn into his glamorous orbit. Unplanned (2012019) Abby Johnson is a rising star within a Planned Parenthood clinic, deeply committed to the organization's mission and believing she is helping women. She is promoted to director of the clinic where she once volunteered. Her perspective begins to shift during a mandated incident where she is asked to assist in an abortion procedure. This experience, along with interactions with peaceful protestors outside the clinic, causes her to question everything she thought she knew. She faces a crisis of conscience that leads her to make a decision that will turn her world upside down.
