The Straight Story (1999)
An elderly man learns that his estranged brother has suffered a stroke. Determined to make amends before it is too late, he embarks on a long journey to see him. Unable to drive a car, he instead operates a slow-moving lawnmower across the rural countryside. His voyage becomes a quiet and reflective odyssey, bringing him into contact with various people who are touched by his simple determination and kindness.
