The Sucker (1965)
A naive man arrives in Paris and is immediately swindled out of his money by a con artist. Instead of being angry, he is impressed by the skill of the trick and asks to become the man's apprentice. He is slowly schooled in the arts of deception, eventually becoming a master swindler himself in the Parisian underworld.
