The Terminator (1984)
A seemingly indestructible cybernetic assassin is sent back in time from a post-apocalyptic future to 1984 Los Angeles. Its mission is to kill a waitress named Sarah Connor, whose unborn son will one day lead the human resistance against the machines. A soldier from that same future is also sent back to protect her at all costs. Sarah finds herself hunted by an unstoppable killing machine and must fight for her life and the future of humanity.
