The Wages of Fear (1953)
In a squalid South American village, four destitute European men are hired by an American oil company for a suicidal mission. They must drive two trucks loaded with nitroglycerin over 300 miles of treacherous mountain roads to an oil well fire. The slightest jolt could cause an explosion, turning the journey into a white-knuckle test of nerves.
