The Water Horse (2007)
A young boy during World War II discovers a mysterious egg on the shores of a Scottish loch. He cares for it, and it hatches into a mythical water horse creature. He secretly raises the rapidly growing beast, named Crusoe, in the family's bathtub and then in the loch, all while trying to keep it hidden from the military troops stationed nearby.
