Their Finest (2016)
During the Blitz in World War II London, a young female screenwriter is hired to work on propaganda films for the British Ministry of Information. She is tasked with writing the "slop" – the women's dialogue – for a film about the Dunkirk evacuation designed to boost morale. She fights sexism and bureaucracy to make a meaningful contribution to the war effort.
