Timbuktu (2014)
In the ancient city of Timbuktu, occupied by extremist fundamentalists, the inhabitants endure the harsh new rules imposed by the Jihadists. Music, laughter, and football are forbidden. The story focuses on a cattle herder and his family living on the outskirts of the city, whose quiet existence is shattered by a senseless tragedy, revealing the absurdity and human cost of fanaticism.
