Tin Cup (1996)
A talented but self-destructive driving range golfer in West Texas lives in the shadow of his successful rival. He falls for a woman taking golf lessons and, to impress her, decides to qualify for the U.S. Open. His unorthodox style and stubborn refusal to play it safe lead to spectacular failures and occasional moments of brilliance, testing his talent and his determination to finally achieve something great.
