War Horse (2011)
At the outbreak of World War I, a young man's beloved horse is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. The film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he changes hands, touching the lives of everyone he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter—during the war.
