This is an animated adaptation of the first part of the groundbreaking graphic novel. In an alternate 1985 where costumed vigilantes are outlawed, the cynical detective Rorschach investigates the murder of a former hero, the Comedian. His investigation suggests a widespread conspiracy to eliminate costumed adventurers, leading him to warn his old comrades, setting a dark and complex narrative in motion.
