Welcome to the Sticks (2008)
A postal administrator in the south of France is punished for trying to scam a transfer for his wife by being sent to the remote, cold north—a region the couple deeply fears and stereotypes. To his surprise, he discovers the northerners are warm, generous, and fun-loving. He hides the truth from his wife, who believes he is miserable, leading to comedic complications.
