Windtalkers (2002)

Movie

During World War II, a hardened and traumatized Marine is assigned to protect a young Navajo radio operator. The Navajo man's native language is used to create an unbreakable code for transmitting messages on the battlefield. The Marine's orders are to protect the code at all costs, even if it means sacrificing the man he is sworn to guard, a duty that creates a profound moral conflict during the brutal fighting in the Pacific.
