World's Greatest Dad (2009)
A failed writer and high school teacher struggles to connect with his obnoxious teenage son. After a tragic and embarrassing accident, he fabricates a suicide note and a diary that paints his son in a sympathetic, intellectual light. The writings become a sensation, bringing the father the recognition he always craved, but forcing him to live an elaborate lie that spirals out of control.
