Yojimbo (1961)
A masterless samurai, a ronin, arrives in a desolate town torn apart by a violent feud between two rival merchants. Seeing an opportunity for profit and moral cleansing, he cleverly plays both criminal factions against each other. He offers his services as a bodyguard to both sides, systematically manipulating the conflict to escalate the violence and destroy the corrupt gangs from within.
