You Are the Apple of My Eye (2011)
In 1990s Taiwan, a group of male high school friends are all infatuated with the same girl, the bright and charming Shen Jiayi. The story is told through the perspective of Ko Ching-teng, the most mischievous boy in the class, who is forced to sit in front of her. Their relationship evolves from constant antagonism to a deep, awkward friendship. Ko harbors a crush on her but is too immature to express it properly, leading to a years-long story of missed connections and nostalgic first love.
