A talented classical pianist diagnosed with ALS hires a brash and directionless college student as her live-in caretaker. The two women, from completely different worlds, initially clash but form a profound and transformative bond. As the disease progresses, the caregiver helps her employer live her final days with dignity and humor, finding her own purpose in the process.
